Skyler Gonzalez is originally from Loganville, Georgia and has been involved in athletics since the age of four. She competed in soccer, basketball, and volleyball, playing competitive club soccer with Atlanta Fire, Dacula, and RYSA, along with AAU and high school basketball and volleyball. She also coached youth soccer through RYSA, gaining early experience leading and mentoring athletes.
Throughout her journey, Skyler experienced constant changes in teams and environments while navigating challenges with confidence, body image, and self-belief. These experiences shaped her understanding that performance is deeply tied to mindset and structure.
A defining moment came during her transition out of competitive soccer when she experienced burnout and was forced to reevaluate her identity and relationship with performance. Instead of following the expected path, she made the decision to attend Augusta University, a school without a soccer program, allowing her to step away from external pressure and rebuild on her own terms.
During that time, she graduated with high honors in Biochemistry, contributed to scientific research, and continued competing in sports recreationally. Without the pressure that once defined her, she found herself performing at a higher level than before across multiple sports.
This experience shaped her core belief:
When athletes uncouple their worth from performance, their potential expands.
Today, Skyler works with athletes to help them build confidence, develop identity beyond sport, and create structure that supports both performance and personal growth.

She understands:
the pressure athletes face daily
how confidence directly impacts performance
what it feels like to struggle with identity in sport
In addition, she brings:
a high-level academic background in Biochemistry

the ability to think analytically and build systems that support real growth
This allows her to help athletes not only navigate challenges, but build lasting confidence, habits, and structure.
“I understand what it feels like to have your confidence, your identity, and your direction tied to your performance
I’ve been through the pressure, the burnout, and the uncertainty that comes with being an athlete.
My goal is to help you build confidence, find clarity, and take control of your life both in and out of sport
once you realize your worth isn’t defined by how you perform, everything starts to change”
“I believe that once athletes understand their worth is not tied to performance, they can truly thrive. Everyone has an unfair advantage — the key is learning how to find it and use it.”
Outside of coaching, Skyler enjoys running, writing, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and continuing to learn about chemistry.
Fun fact: Skyler got married in the Dominican Republic.
Skyler has contributed to multiple scientific research publications and presentations in biochemistry and physiology, demonstrating a high level of discipline, analytical thinking, and commitment to growth.
