BUILT FOR LIFE IN AND BEYOND SPORT
Sweetwine Enterprises is a fully remote life coaching company built specifically for current and former athletes in any sport, at any level.
We help athletes work through the parts of life that don’t always come with a coach — confidence, identity, structure, building good habits, accountability, life planning, goal setting, personal development, and figuring out what comes next in life.
Sometimes that means helping you create more structure while they’re still competing. Sometimes it means working through a transition, rebuilding confidence, separating who you are from how you perform, or developing a plan for life after sport.
There isn’t one version of the athlete experience, so there isn’t one version of our coaching.
Every current or former athlete is matched with a Life Coach who works with you around your specific goals, circumstances, and stage of life. Coaching is supported by structured plans, consistent communication, measurable progress, and our Client Performance Indicator so that the work goes beyond simply having conversations but actually seeing growth.
And because Sweetwine Enterprises is fully remote, our life coaches can support current and former athletes wherever they are.
Why We Only Work With current and former Athletes
Being an athlete can shape almost everything about how you see yourself.
For years, your schedule may be built around practices, workouts, games, travel, teammates, coaches, goals, wins and losses. You learn discipline, sacrifice, resilience and how to perform under pressure.
But sport doesn’t always prepare you for everything that happens outside of it.
What happens when your confidence starts changing? When you transfer? When your role changes? When you’re trying to balance sport with the rest of your life? When you don’t know who you are outside of competition? Or when the sport eventually ends?
That’s why Sweetwine Enterprises only works with current and former athletes.
We understand the mentality that comes with competing. Our job is to coach the person behind the athlete.
Our life coaches help you slow things down, understand what you actually want, build structure around your life, and take action toward goals that matter to you.
You don’t have to be struggling. You don’t have to be retired. And you don’t have to have your entire future figured out.
OUR STORY
Sweetwine Enterprises started in September 2024 from a college dorm room.
Founder Isaiah Sweetwine was nearing the end of a five-year college basketball career while earning his degree in Business Management. Like a lot of athletes, basketball had been a major part of his life for years — his schedule, relationships, goals, identity and everyday routine were all connected to sports.
As that chapter started getting closer to an end, one question became harder to ignore:
What happens when being an athlete is no longer the center of your life?
There were plenty of resources designed to help athletes perform. But there wasn’t nearly as much support for everything happening underneath it — identity, confidence, purpose, structure, life direction and learning how to build something meaningful outside of competition.
That became the foundation for Sweetwine Enterprises.
What started as one athlete trying to solve a problem he understood personally has grown into a company that has supported more than 75 current and former athletes across 8+ sports, four levels of competition, multiple countries, and several schools and organizations.
Today, Sweetwine Enterprises is bigger than one person or one story. Our team includes life coaches with their own athletic experiences, backgrounds and perspectives because we know athletes need more than a generic coaching model.
Some of our clients are still competing. Others are finished. Some know exactly what they want to build next. Others come to us because they have no idea yet. Our responsibility is to meet athletes where they are and help them from there.
To reshape what success looks like for athletes during and beyond their playing careers.
After competing for five years at the college level — including during the height of the NIL era — Isaiah saw firsthand how unprepared many athletes felt once the game ended, despite having the talent, discipline, and drive. That gap became the foundation for Sweetwine Enterprises.
While he earned his associates degree from Trinidad State College where he competed on the men's basketball team, Isaiah also made stops at University of Saint Mary during the unforgettable covid year (2020). He made stops at the junior college level, tranferring to Trinidad State College, earning his associtates degree. Isaiah later earned a bachelor's in business management from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, thereafter. Isaiah began building a company focused on helping athletes build clarity, confidence, and systems for life during and beyond sport. Isaiah has 125+ 1 on 1 client coaching hours, experience delivering athlete-focused life coaching using ICF- aligned competencies, structured sessions and ethical standards before expanding the company now with more than 5 Life Coaches and having served 60+ current and former athletes within the first year of founding.
Bringing experience from corporate business development at an asset management firm, he learned how structured strategy and long-term planning could be leveraged inside of athletics. That real-world insight now fuels Sweetwine Enterprises — a company built on execution and real empowerment for current and former athletes.
A two-time Amazon-published author, Isaiah has led projects focused on strategy, branding, and scalable growth. His academic work was recognized with the Management Book Award and multiple honors in business research and creative entrepreneurship. He is also the founder of the Isaiah Sweetwine Scholarship. He now brings both lived experience and strategic expertise to athletes across the country — helping them think bigger, move smarter, set goals and plan life!
“We’re not just worried about your performance in sport — we’re walking through life with you, setting goals, achieving goals and planning out your life.”
