The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as:
“Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”
Sweetwine Enterprises Life Coaches help current and former athletes identify priorities, establish commitments and take meaningful action. Coaching is not therapy, medical treatment or crisis care.
We primarily serve current and former athletes who are navigating personal development, athletic transitions, identity development, school, career decisions or life beyond sports.
We also provide group services for schools, teams, sports organizations and athlete-development programs.
Yes, all our coaches come from extensive backgrounds and knowledge in sports, with experience as athletes, coaches, and athlete mentors. All of our coaches go through extensive training to best support our clients. You can choose which Life Coach you want to work with.
Every client works inside our CPI (Client performance Indicator) system, which life coaches use to track real progress in patterns and habit building, our CPI system also provides accountability and structure to build stability during and after your coaching experience.
The Athlete Snapshot is a free starting tool that allows a Life Coach to reach out to you via email or text if you ae not ready for a discovery call. It helps you reflect on your current challenges, priorities and areas where additional structure may be helpful.
It is not a clinical assessment, diagnosis or guarantee that coaching is the appropriate service.
A member of the Sweetwine Enterprises team will review your information and contact you to learn more about your goals, current circumstances and the level of support you may need.
We work you to recommend an appropriate service and explain the next steps.
The Client Performance Indicator, or CPI, is Sweetwine Enterprises’ internal system for tracking consistency and growth during a coaching package.
Coaches use this information to recognize progress, identify areas needing additional attention and support the client’s next steps.
CPI is not a clinical assessment, psychological test, academic evaluation or scientifically validated measure of mental health.
Our team considers your current needs, desired level of support, execution challenges and the amount of time needed to work through the package’s defined areas of focus.
You do not have to choose a package by yourself. We will provide a recommendation after learning more about your situation.
Coaching may help clients work toward:
Greater clarity and less overwhelm
More consistent habits and follow-through
A stronger identity inside and outside of sports
Clearer structure and personal direction
A practical plan that can continue after coaching
Results vary and depend on factors including participation, communication, effort and follow-through. Sweetwine Enterprises does not guarantee any particular personal, athletic, educational, career, financial or emotional outcome.
Yes. Coaching is delivered remotely, allowing clients to work with their assigned Life Coach from wherever they are located.
Clients are responsible for having a suitable device, internet or phone access and a reasonably private environment if needed for coaching calls.
Clients completing a standard coaching package receive a one-page CPI Summary containing their package experience, documented progress and continued action recommendations.
The summary is designed to help clients understand what they established during coaching and what they should continue working on afterward.
Starter Play, Next Play and Legacy Build include:
2-3 scheduled live coaching contacts during each active coaching week
Individualized support between scheduled contacts
The package’s defined areas of focus
Structured weekly goals and action steps
CPI progress tracking
An approved two-week flexibility window
A closing one-page CPI Summary
Continued action recommendations
Remote access to an assigned Life Coach
The Single Session and 7-Day Sprint follow separate delivery formats described on their individual service pages.
Each active week of a standard coaching package includes 2-3 scheduled live coaching contacts.
The schedule and communication method are established during onboarding. Clients are expected to attend scheduled contacts and communicate promptly when a scheduling issue occurs. There is support between sessions via text!

Yes.
If the athlete is under 18:
A parent or guardian must sign onboarding documents
Parent involvement is discussed and is mandatory
For minors, yes, parent/guardian attendance is mandatory.
Optional attendance depends on:
Age
Coaching objective
Athlete comfort
Structure of the package
We maintain boundaries to protect the athlete’s development.
Each standard package includes up to two weeks of approved flexibility for situations such as scheduling interruptions, athletic travel, holidays, emergencies or the need for additional implementation time.
When an official pause is approved, coaching activity and CPI tracking pause during that period. Unused flexibility does not reduce the service provided; if no pause is needed, coaching continues through the package’s full timeframe.
The flexibility window is not an automatic extension for missed contacts or nonparticipation.
What happens if I miss coaching contacts or stop responding?
Missed contacts, late cancellations and periods of nonresponse are handled according to the Client Agreement and applicable service policies.
Failing to participate, respond or use available coaching time does not automatically extend the package or qualify the client for a refund.
Eligible clients may request an upgrade while their service is active. Approval depends on the service purchased, timing, coach availability and current company policy.
The 7-Day Sprint may be eligible for upgrade credit when the applicable requirements and deadline are met. A Single Session is a separate service and is not automatically credited toward a package.
